September 10th 2013 - PRODUCT RECALL At Puckator customer safety is one of our paramount considerations, and we take great lengths to ensure that the products we supply are fully compliant with all safety regulations. However, it has come to our notice that one batch of hatching egg toy items (BATCH 10) has been produced without the correct proportions of the necessary additive to fully ensure the structural integrity of the product. While risks are minimal, it could technically present a choking hazard, therefore we have decided as a precaution that the following products should be recalled: - TY63 HATCHING LIZARD EGG (BATCH 10)
- TY339 HATCHING DINOSAUR EGG (BATCH 10)
- TY95 GROWING PET HATCHING SNAKE EGG (BATCH 10)
- TY106 HATCHING CHICKEN EGG (BATCH 10)
Please note, that the above products from earlier batches (batch numbers are marked on the packaging, see below on how to identify the batch number) are completely safe and fully compliant with toy safety regulations, it is only the above four items from BATCH 10 that we are withdrawing as a precaution, which we received at our warehouse 5th July 2013. If you have ordered and received any of the above products, we would be grateful if you can let us know as soon as possible how much stock you have remaining. Please contact our customer service team with the details and we will arrange for a refund to be issued for any stock unsold and will advise whether goods should be disposed of, or returned to our warehouse for destruction. We regret the inconvenience caused, and would stress that this is a very rare occurrence. Product testing and safety is something we adhere to rigorously, and to that end we closely monitor factories we use during the production of our products. In this instance, a factory has not fully complied with our strict guidelines, but the lapse in the factory’s production techniques has now been identified and rectified. We would like to thank you for your co-operation with this product recall, and would again offer our apologies for this issue. We greatly value your business, and look forward to being of service in the future. Mark Howard Managing Director
